江潮

The tidal bore of the Qiantang River in the Gulf of Hangzhou of East China is the most spectacular in the world. The sprays of the surging tidal bore reach as high as 8.93 metres with a current velocity of 24 kilometres per hour. Its roar can be heard within a circumference of 22 kilometres. This accounts for a Chinese description that“the roar of the tidal bore sounds like ten thousand armies.” 中國東部杭州灣的錢(qián)塘江江潮是世界上最壯觀(guān)的江潮，怒潮翻滾時(shí)浪花最高達8.93米，速度約為每小時(shí)24公里，方圓22公里內可聽(tīng)到波濤洶涌前進(jìn)的聲音，有“十萬(wàn)軍聲一夜潮”之說(shuō)。
